Seminar at Botswana Geoscience Institute | October 2022

On October 4, 2022, Mr. Peter Kesebonye, a geologist from Terravox, shared an exciting update with the Botswana Geoscience Institute. He introduced them to a breakthrough technique called microseismic sounding.

This method is like a window into the Earth's layers, allowing us to see the rocks and structures below the surface, all the way down to where the Earth's crust meets the mantle. By using microseismic sounding, the Botswana Geoscience Institute can now study the different layers under the ground and learn more about the country's geology.

This presentation opens up new possibilities for the institute's experts and leaders. They can use this technology to explore and understand Botswana's unique geology in ways we never could before. It's a big step forward in our knowledge of the Earth beneath our feet.
