Global demand for metals has risen considerably over the past decade. Geologists are developing new approaches for studying ore deposits and discovering new sources.

Terravox technology allows you to effectively build 2D or 3D models of the high-speed structure of the subsurface space.  

The geological exploration microseismic sounding (GEMS) technology offers the opportunity, along with traditional techniques, to verify reliably magnetic anomalies revealing, for example, buried diatremes and determining their spatial parameters, occurrence depth, configuration, sizes, and others features. It is appropriate for assessing volumetric shapes of diatremes and defining their different phases and facies. 

Kimberlite pipes are usually sub-vertical column-shaped zones of reduced velocities formed by the rise of degassing igneous rocks. They are ideal objects for a survey using our technology, even when they do not reach the surface for hundreds of meters and their diameter in plan is very small compared to their vertical size.

GEMS method has a number of features that distinguish it from related methods of passive seismic prospecting that are currently common in the world. 

The peculiarity of Terravox technology is that sub-vertical boundaries and contacts are more technologically convenient objects for research than sub-horizontal ones. Interaction with sub-vertical velocity contacts is more emphasized. 

Our method  is based on measuring the amplitude distortions of waves at velocity contacts; therefore, its resolution in plan is also quite high in comparison with similar methods.
